I’m so excited to finally share this shoot with you guys! I’m a huuuuuuge Alice in Wonderland fan, so although it was shot just last week I feel as though it’s been a long time coming. I didn’t want for it to be as traditional as I’ve seen it done time after time. The idea behind it was that I wanted to show a more romantic and confident Alice, all grown up, returning to Wonderland as a bride. I wanted to show a sassy, smart and beautiful Alice, yet still capture a glimpse of the magical dream world she once visited long ago.

The very talented Monique, from Ouma, had held a contest this past Fall and I knew I had to win when I saw the dress she was giving away. With much luck and determination, I won (Yay!!!) and I started planning everything else around the dress. I got in touch with the amazing Jasika, from Two Back Flats, and we discussed the idea of the Mad Hatter’s hat, but much more feminine. I sent her a sash that matched the dress and off to work she went. It was such a home run! The hat is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! The next big to-do was to find the perfect model. I didn’t want to do the obvious blond hair, blue eyes, etc., so when I found Melissa, I knew she was the one. There’s something so sweet, innocent and humble about her. :) I got the pleasure of working with Christina again who did a phenomenal job on Melissa’s hair and makeup. I’m telling you, she can read my mind! She knows exactly what I see in my head and does it to perfection! So, here it is!

Many, many thanks to everyone that made this styled shoot possible and believed in me! :)

Miami Boudoir Photography at the EPIC

All images by Miami Wedding Photographer Michelle March.

Model: Anna Pavlovna
Hair & Makeup Artist: Christina Vidal
Lingerie: Priscilla Jade
Location: EPIC Residences

Although I love shooting weddings, I’m very passionate about creative shoots. I definitely get my hands dirty in all of it, from working with gown designers to make the right dress from scratch to finding the perfect model with the right personality. Ever since I signed up at Model Mayhem, I get approached by models who want to work with me pretty often. When I received a message from Anna, I knew I had to collaborate with her. She’s gorgeous and had so many interesting ideas. The very wonderful Christina was our hair & makeup artist and the super talented Priscilla Jade handed me one of a kind pieces of her latest lingerie collection. The cherry on top was the location. None other than a breathtaking residence at the EPIC in downtown Miami. This is just part one of our shoot. There’s so much more to come. Enjoy!

Palm Beach Wedding Photography of Evelyn and Carlos

All images by Miami Wedding Photographer Michelle March.

Evelyn and Carlos’ wedding was the perfect mix of modern and elegant. Every detail was so incredibly tasteful. Evelyn’s gorgeous gown was straight out of a fairytale and her shoes were amazing. I couldn’t stop photographing them. Just when I’d put them down, I’d come up with a hundred other ideas!

The long awaited ceremony, over 11 years in the making, was held at Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, FL. It was absolutely beautiful. It was refreshing and a challenge to capture a Greek Orthodox ceremony. I’m not going to lie, there were moments when Mike and I had clue what was about to happen. There was no time for me to really take it all in and get all teary eyed like I usually do. Even so, watching them walk down the aisle after their first kiss was so emotional. There’s just so much passion in their relationship. Ahhh! I loved it! I also couldn’t take my eyes off their adorable daughter, Tatiana, who stole the spotlight with her very important role as the flower girl. All in all, it felt as though Evelyn’s father was the most excited. He looked so genuinely happy and proud. There always seemed to be a twinkle in his eyes. I couldn’t help but smile whenever I glanced at him.

The Westin, in Ft. Lauderdale, did an exceptional job with the reception. It was truly winter wonderland in South Florida. The food was AMAZING and the DJ did a wonderful job at keeping everyone on their feet. The entire day was such a great experience. I’m so thankful that I got to share such a special day with them!

Special thanks to Norman, at the Westin, for all the wonderful help!
