I’m so behind on blogging that I’m seriously considering hiring someone to put these together. I have so much too share (D-R-E-A-M-Y G-O-O-D-N-E-S-S!!!) and I just can’t find the time. Hopefully, once things slow down in the summer for this Floridian (our wedding season is the complete opposite from everywhere else), I can fill you all in and give you plenty to feast your eyes on. This wedding that I’m about to show you has been a long time coming! I shot it back in September of 2013 up in Michigan and, as always, there’s quite a story to tell.

I “met” Samantha via Instagram quite some time ago. 2 years, I think. Maybe more! She was like my long-lost twin sister. From her Old English Sheepdog (We have one too!) to her outfits (We have the same Anthropologie clothes and style them the same way!)… Our long hair and big glasses (same brand and model!)… I can go on and on! It was uncanny. She is much cooler, of course! Haha! Sam has her own vintage shop called Rose Vintage. She even has a decked out (and adorable!) camper full of the prettiest things that she travels across the country with selling all the amazingness that she has gathered. We would comment on each other’s photos, especially the ones with of our dogs, and chatted over the phone. Swore we would someday meet in person. Well, sometime later Sam and Dono got engaged and the rest is history. I had the upmost honor of capturing not just their wedding, but all the fun leading up to and after the big day. Mike and I flew to upstate Michigan to the gorgeous Cherry Basket Farm and had the most incredible time. I got to hug Otis (their pup) a million times and that pretty much made my weekend. Haha! It was an unbelievable wedding and I’m so thankful that I got to experience it all. In November, Sam and Dono (and Otis) came down from Michigan and we rented a house together in Orlando for the weekend. Joy and Otis met and it was love at first sight. Haha! We want them to have babies someday. Seriously! I’m so grateful for Instagram and the beautiful friend I made on it. Anyway, let’s get on with the wedding — shall we?
